Reynoldsburg isn't a city known for it's interesting locations. It's not that the city lacks in aesthetically pleasing locals, its just that the attractions Reynoldsburg boasts are places not immediately known to the public. These attractions range from local businesses, which offer the small town charm we love about Reynoldsburg, to natural parks.

The beauty in Reynoldsburg lies not only in it's settings, but also in the people who make it all worth while. With all of this in mind we decided to write a few articles detailing some of the exact places we think anyone (whether a local resident or a visitor) should visit in Reynoldsburg. Each article will detail five places, and for the second iteration we have some of the best places to get dessert, take photos, and enjoy on the list.

At the west end of Kingsley Drive a vacant lot is the gateway to a park magnificent in its many views and historical in its presence. Building began on Pine Quarry in 1980 and the park still stands today as one of Reynoldsburg's greatest natural landmarks. The landscape is perfect for family adventures and spectacular photos. From creekside bridges to hills of shale running alongside the trails, Pine Quarry is a valued piece of nature which visitors and residents can enjoy.

The Reynoldsburg Truro Historical Society was founded in 1975 with the mission of bringing fourth the history of Reynoldsburg and the areas around Reynoldsburg to its citizens. Their work has lived on and eventually, in 1985, they purchased the land that their museum can now be found on. The historical house and two barns which sit in the rear of the building are fully dedicated to holding onto artifacts from Reynoldsburg's history. Along with this collection of physical items, the Historical Society boasts a database of events on their website. #ThisisReynoldsburg is currently interviewing two members of the Historical Society (Mark Myers and Connie Parkinson) to gain knowledge on the Underground Railroad as it relates to our city. The Museum is open to the public the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For more information see their website here.
