The State of #ThisisReynoldsburg

The State of #ThisisReynoldsburg

Hello everyone, Jared Marrero from #Thisisreynoldsburg here.

For over a year we’ve been creating content for you, the Reynoldsburg citizen. Since our founding, we’ve hired two employees, attended events around the city, and produced an astonishing 33 videos. When we originally thought about this project, we had very small ambitions, but those have changed.

At the start of this is reynoldsburg we had about a quarter of the views we do today. The success in our content mirrors the immense interest the Reynoldsburg community has in itself, which is exactly why this is reynoldsburg exists; to heighten civic involvement and discourse.

We’ve noticed the growth, the interest, and the investment of the community in our content. Because of this, we’ve decided to do more. Starting April 4th, This is Reynoldsburg will be taking the first step in a group of massive changes.

Today we’re announcing the start of a brand new podcast called The Reynoldsburg Update. The show will be the first of its kind for Reynoldsburg. Guests, new segments, and continual communication with you, our viewers, is something we’re extremely excited about. The show will feature a bevy of fresh new content centered only on Reynoldsburg and the impact of the more national community on our rapidly growing city.

You can expect sit downs with some of the brightest minds of our community, exploration into Reynoldsburg’s local economy, and an increased effort for production quality. All of this, and more, for absolutely no cost to our viewers. The first episode will air April 4th at 6:00 P.M. and will be posted to Facebook, Youtube, and our website at www.thisisreynoldsburg.org. To get an update on when the episodes are posted, you can subscribe to us on Youtube and like our page on Facebook.

But there's more. As you might have caught in our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram posts, we're producing our first long form documentary. Centering on the Truro Township fire department, “Service Over Self” goes behind the scenes of our local fire and paramedic department. This project will be the first in a long line of fully produced and directed documentaries created by our team here at this is Reynoldsburg. Tune into our social media accounts and website Thursday March 29th to watch the first trailer for this exciting new project.

Cotner Funeral Home and This is Reynoldsburg are proud to take the next step in becoming the number one source for Reynoldsburg centered content. Reynoldsburg update and our fully produced documentaries are two steps in the right direction, and we’re all excited to announce further partnerships, events, and changes in the way we produce content.

We want to thank everyone who continually supports #ThisisReynoldsburg, and we hope our vision for the future is just as exciting for you, as it is for us.
